Strategic adds liquidity and increases its share value by repurchasing its common shares at times when shares are trading at a discount to working capital per share. Since January 10, 2008 Strategic has purchased 3,588,500 shares at an average price of $0.28.
As per the terms of the current normal course issuer bid (share buy back plan), Strategic is able to purchase up to 4,268,779 of its common shares for the period of November 25, 2009 to November 24, 2010. To February 28, 2010, 176,000 shares had been purchased under the current bid.
