Strategic has recently expanded its wholly-owned Midas Touch project to cover nearly 1,000 sq km of prospective stratigraphy for Carlin-type gold mineralization to the south of ATAC Resources' new Osiris discovery. The Midas Touch project now hosts four areas of orpiment-realgar mineralization, arsenic sulphide minerals that are often associated with Carlin-style gold deposits and are key indicator minerals at ATAC's Osiris discovery. At the Crag property, recent drilling by Strategic has confirmed that the hydrothermal system is gold-bearing and large in extent. The pathfinder element signature that is consistent with the upper portions of a Carlin system, with further drilling required to depth. The three other areas of orpiment-realgar mineralization are new discoveries located through preliminary prospecting of regional pathfinder +/- gold geochemical anomalies. At the Rod property, initial drilling has returned encouraging results of 101.91 g/t silver, 4.76% lead and 4.44% zinc over 8.31m.

Strategic recently completed the spin-out of Silver Range Resources to create a new company focused on bulk-tonnage targets at the silver-enriched Silver Range project and gold-rich Mint project, both located in Yukon Territory (see "Silver Range Resources Spin-Out" below for further details).

Strategic's option, royalty and shareholding interests in companies such as ATAC Resources, Silver Range Resources and Rockhaven Resources provide upside exposure to numerous active exploration projects, including a major Carlin-type gold discovery at ATAC's Rackla Project.
